Workspace or Email Pro

Which one does your team need?

Both use your domain and come on the same invoice. The difference is whether your team works inside Google or just needs email.

Choose Google Workspace if

  • Your team edits documents and spreadsheets together in Drive.
  • Meetings happen in Meet and calendars are shared.
  • You already use Gmail and don’t want to switch apps.
  • You need retention and eDiscovery with Vault.

Choose Email Pro if

  • You need email, calendar and contacts, and nothing else.
  • You want to pay per mailbox, from $1.10 a month.
  • You use your phone’s mail app, Outlook or webmail.
  • You want to bring mailboxes over from cPanel with the free migration.

How to buy

From sign-up to your first email, in the dashboard.

  1. Create your account and organization

Sign-up is free. Workspace is purchased by whoever administers the organization.

  2. Pick the domain and the plan

A domain already in your account or a new one; Business Starter, Standard or Plus, flexible or annual; and the number of users.

  3. Name the administrator

The first user, with an address on the domain itself, plus the company address Google requires at sign-up.

  4. Turn on email

With DNS at UQBITZ, MX, SPF and DMARC are published automatically; elsewhere, you get the records to copy. The DKIM key is generated in Google’s Admin console and you publish the record.

In the UQBITZ dashboard

Day-to-day account work, no ticket needed.

  • Create, edit and remove users.
  • Add and remove email aliases.
  • Add or reduce licenses.
  • Change plans.
  • Add Vault on the Starter and Standard plans.

Questions about Google Workspace

Flexible or annual: what’s the difference?

On flexible you add or remove licenses whenever you like and pay a little more per user. Annual costs less, with a 12-month commitment paid monthly; reducing licenses only takes effect at the end of the commitment.

How am I billed if my team changes mid-month?

The invoice counts the highest number of active licenses in the month. If you reduce, the difference shows up from the following invoice.

I already have Google Workspace. Can I move it to UQBITZ?

The dashboard doesn’t do that transfer today: a subscription bought directly from Google or from another reseller stays where it is.

Does UQBITZ migrate my mailboxes into Workspace?

No. UQBITZ migration brings email from cPanel into Email Pro. To move messages into Workspace, Google has its own migration tool in the Admin console.

How do I cancel?

Through UQBITZ support. On the annual plan, the commitment runs until the end of the 12 months.

What about Enterprise?

Google doesn’t publish Enterprise pricing. Talk to sales and we’ll put a quote together.

Which currency do I pay in?

US dollars, euros or Brazilian reais, at Google’s official price list for each currency.
